Tripp graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2015, earning double majors in Physics and Engineering Sciences. After graduation he began his career in finance as a registered representative at UBS, and later accepted a position at Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2017. He grew his practice in the Houston area over four years, eventually serving approximately 120 households and managing just under $30M. During this time he earned his Series 7, 63, and 66, Insurance licenses, and CRPC designation. In 2021 Tripp left the industry to return to his lifelong passion of physics, and is currently working towards his PhD at The University of Houston. Tripp specializes in theoretical nuclear physics, and his research focuses on the QCD phase transition and modelling the Neutron Star Equation of State.
